Ilkley Tutors helps people to prepare for City & Guilds functional skills Exams. The City and Guilds Functional Skills exams that are offered by our partners at MME are available in both Maths and English and at levels 1 and 2. This allows you to pick and choose the appropriate subject and level to suit your needs. At Ilkley Tuition, we also offer expert tutoring and other services to help you prepare specifically for your City and Guilds exams. We also offer over 20 City and Guilds past papers, free of charge, available on the MME website.

The City and Guilds Functional Skills exams are offered as an alternate option when purchasing a functional skills exam on the MME website. The City and Guilds and other functional skills exams are generally the same, as they cover the same curriculum as other exams. This means that you won't have to learn any new content specifically for this exam. The way that the exam is preformed is also very similar to other functional skills exams, as this is an online exam that will be conducted remotely. This means that you will be able to take the exam from the comfort of your own home.

On the day of the exam, you will be emailed by an invigilator from City and Guilds who will invite you to a video call where they will assist you in setting up your exam. This will require you to have a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone on the day of the exam.
