With the new GCSE Maths exams about to kick off next week we thought it would be good to briefly review some of the changes and what to expect in next week's exam. In 2015 the new Maths GCSE was introduced with many significant changes to the content and grading system. Firstly the GCSE Maths exam is now graded 1-9 with grade 9 being above A*. Secondly new topics such as functions, Venn diagrams and iterations have entered the course along with a number of new question types within each topic. At Ilkley Tuition, all of our GCSE Maths tutors in Ilkley, are fully up to speed with the changes as are our pupils. We have taught the new GCSE Maths syllabus to our Ilkley students for the past 2 years and we are confident they will achieve in this year's exam.
